LBB talks to Lizzie Minges about editing American Anthems

Little Black Book sat down with our Head of Post-Production, Lizzie Minges, to talk about her work editing two episodes of American Anthems, the six-part PBS series that follows country musicians as they craft surprise songs for local heroes.

Lizzie cut 'Let the Words Come Out,' featuring Lindsay Ell, and 'Make Tomorrow Come Today,' featuring Grammy-nominated Cam. In the conversation she gets into the craft of it all: editing with empathy when the material is heavy, wrestling broadcast runtimes down to the frame, and the mid-edit handoff to our own Jero Villar Uribe in Mexico City when covid struck two weeks before picture lock.
